Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 15 minutes | Servings: Makes between 35-42 balls depending on the size of the balls

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy sausage (uncooked)
  • 2 cups (8-ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves (crushed)
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerator crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Directions

Heat oven to 375 F.  Line a 15x10x1 pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix sausage, cheese and rosemary. Unroll crescent dough on work surface; coat each side with flour. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut dough into 1/4 inch pieces. Mix dough pieces into the sausage mix until well blended (mixing with hands has better results). Shape into about 42 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place in pan. Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm (when they cool down, they are still good!). Serve immediately.
