Pico de Gallo

  • 3 large red tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 large white onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • fresh juice from 1 lime
  • 6 jalapeños, diced with seeds intact
  • generous pinch  of salt, to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.  Serve immediately or cover and chill until ready to use. For a sweet twist: Add diced mangos and use red, yellow and orange sweet peppers.
