Japanese Chicken

  • 2 pounds uncooked chicken, sliced
  • flour, for coating
  • garlic salt
  • seasoned salt
  • paprika
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Dip chicken in flour and fry. Sprinkle with garlic salt, seasoned salt, and paprika while chicken is frying. In a saucepan, mix together the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, water, and salt. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Place fried chicken in baking dish and pour warm sauce over it. Bake at 350 F 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. After chicken is done, pour sauce into cooked rice. Tasty!
