Ingredients
- 3 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 ounces cheddar-jack cheese
- 2 teaspoons chopped chives
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine chicken broth and half and half.
- Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in macaroni.
- Cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
- Stir in cream cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and cheese.
- Cook on low, stirring often until thickened and creamy.
