Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground venison or other sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup chopped multicolored peppers
- 4-ounce can mushrooms (or 1 cup fresh)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup baking mix
- 4 eggs
- dash salt/pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Lightly spray pie plate.
- Brown sausage and add to pie plate.
- Sauté onion, peppers and mushrooms.
- Layer veggies over sausage.
- Sprinkle cheese over veggies/sausage.
- Beat remaining ingredients until smooth.
- Pour into pie pan.
- Bake until golden brown, about 35 min until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean.
- Let cool 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
