Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 5 cups chopped rhubarb
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Directions
- Shape pie crust into pie plate.
- Mix egg, 3/4 cup sugar, sour cream, and flour. Evenly coat chopped rhubarb with mixture and place in the unbaked pie crust.
- Mix 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of rhubarb.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes and afterwards 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Watch edges and cover as needed to avoid over darkening.
- Serve warm immediately.
the amounts for the crumble topping are wrong.Need a minimum of 1c flour to offset the 1/2 c of butter. I made it as directed and it was liquid until I added more flour.
