Ingredients
- 1 lb. large whole white mushrooms
- 1/2 Cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 Cup finely chopped green pepper
- 1/2 -1 Tbsp butter
- 1 5oz jar of Kraft Old English cheese spread
- 1/2-1 Tbsp Franks hot sauce, optional or to taste.
Directions
- Wipe mushroom clean, do not wash.
- Remove stems and finely chopped ( I use mini food processor to finely chop stems and veggies.)
- In medium sauté pan melt butter on medium heat, add stems, onions and green pepper. Sauté until soft and most of liquid cooked off.
- Add cheese spread. Stir and mix well until cheese melted.
- Add Franks, if using.
- Turn heat to low, stuff mushrooms. Fill each as much as possible.
- Bake at 350 in preheated oven, for about 25 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
