- 3 1/3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2/3 cups water
- 1 (16-ounce) can solid pumpkin
- 1 cup nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 2 loaf pans. Sift all dry ingredients together, but sugar. Mix in sugar, eggs, oil, and water. Add pumpkin and fold in nuts. Bake for 1 hour.
