Kahlua Cake

  • 1 (15-ounce) box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 large (5-ounce) boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2-2/3 cup Kahlua
  • 2 (8-ounce) tubs Cool Whip
  • 1 1/2-2 (8-ounce) bags Heath milk chocolate toffee bits
  • 1/2 cup mini milk chocolate chips

Prepare cake according to package instructions (using the 1/2 cup oil and 3 eggs) in two 8” round pans. Cool and cut both in half lengthwise. In a medium bowl, add the two boxes of pudding, milk and Kailua. Stir and let set. On a cake plate, start with one layer of cake, 1/4 pudding mixture, Cool Whip, and sprinkle with Heath bits. Repeat with each layer. On the last layer, add Heath bits and 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Enjoy!
