Grandma Kay’s Meat Pie

Prep: 50 minutes | Cook: 30 minutes | Servings: Each pie renders 8 slices
  • 3 pounds ground pork
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon poultry dressing
  • 2 teaspoons sage
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 frozen pie shells
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Thaw the pie shells. Mix first twelve ingredients in dutch oven. Cover and cook on medium 45 minutes. Cool. Place the mixture into one pie shell. Use another pie shell for top. Bake at 350 F until pie crust is golden brown. Enjoy!!
