Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 tablespoon minced onions
- 2 eggs
- pepper to taste
Topping Ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- Mix meatball ingredients and form into large meatballs.
- Mix topping ingredients together in a saucepan on low heat until blended.
- Pour topping over meatballs and bake for 1 hour, covered.
These were so delicious! I doubled the topping ingredients, using about 3/4 on the meatballs and reserving the rest to heat and pour over each serving as desired. Best meatballs I’ve ever tasted!
Excellent meatballs. Kids like them. Easy to eat. I increased topping recipe by 50%. I made the meatballs 1.5 to 2 inches which really fills a 9×13 full full. Might want to use a 10×15 or cut the recipe.
