Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoons butter or oleo
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 4 thin slices of fully cooked ham
- 2 thin slices of Swiss cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Pound chicken to flatten, spread with butter and sprinkle with thyme
- Top with a slice of ham and cheese
- Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks
- Beat eggs and milk together and dip chicken into mixture
- Dip chicken into flour and then back into the egg mixture
- Combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, oregano and Parmesan and coat chicken with the mixture
- Place chicken on a greased sheet and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes
